Google Ads for electricians who want better jobs.

We run Google Ads, Local Services Ads and more for Indianapolis electricians. Month to month, your own accounts, and a written quote after a free PPC review.

02

Paying for clicks that only wanted a free answer.

  • Electrical searches mix real jobs with DIY questions, job hunters and people looking for parts. Without tight keywords and a good negative list, the budget goes to people who were never going to book, while the panel upgrade call goes to someone else.
  • Clicks from DIY searchers
  • Calls missed on the job site
  • No idea which ads booked work

What electrician PPC covers

Campaigns by job type

Separate ad groups for repairs, panel upgrades, EV charger installs, generators and lighting, each with its own ads and landing page.

Local Services Ads setup

Where Google offers the electrician category in your area, we help with the profile and the verification steps, which include license and insurance checks.

Call and lead tracking

Calls and form fills tracked by campaign, so you can see which ads turn into booked jobs instead of guessing from clicks.

Landing pages per service

A page for each main job with your license details, service area and a tap-to-call button, matched to the ad that sent the visitor.

Meta and Microsoft where they fit

Facebook and Instagram ads for planned work like EV chargers and standby generators, and Microsoft Ads for Bing searchers, when your goals support them.

How we approach PPC for electricians

Indy Blitz manages pay-per-click advertising for electricians in and around Indianapolis: Google Search ads, Local Services Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta ads, plus landing pages and call tracking. Agreements are month to month, the ad accounts are in your name, and you pay Google, Microsoft and Meta directly for ad spend. Pricing is a written quote after a free PPC review. Everything is built around the work you want more of.

Electrical work splits into two kinds of search. Service calls, like a breaker that keeps tripping or half the house without power, are urgent and short, and they usually happen on a phone. Project work, like a panel upgrade, an EV charger in the garage or a standby generator, involves comparing quotes over days or weeks. We keep the two in separate campaigns with their own budgets, because a no-power call and a generator quote behave very differently after the click.

Local Services Ads put a short list of verified businesses at the top of some searches, and you pay per lead rather than per click. Google checks licenses and insurance for trades that need them, and in Indiana electrical licensing is mostly handled by cities and counties, so the details depend on where you work. Our guide to Local Services Ads explains how they work. In regular Search ads, a license number and proof of insurance on the landing page help people trust you before they call.

Demand moves with the weather. Summer storms bring outage and surge calls, and colder months bring generator interest. We shift budget toward what is busy and watch tracked calls to see which campaigns lead to booked jobs. We don’t have an electrician PPC client example to share yet, we won’t invent one, and we never promise a cost per lead. Electrician PPC questions

Do Google Ads work for electricians?

They can, when campaigns stick to the jobs you want and block the searches you don’t. Results depend on your area, budget, landing pages and how quickly calls get answered. We won’t promise a number of leads or a cost per lead.

Should electricians use Local Services Ads?

Often they are worth testing, if Google offers the category where you work and you can pass the license and insurance checks. Many electricians run them alongside Search ads, since the two appear in different spots and are paid for differently.

Which electrical jobs are worth bidding on?

Usually the ones with clear intent and good margins for you: panel upgrades, EV charger installs, generators, and urgent repairs if someone can answer the phone. Small odd jobs and DIY questions are usually better excluded.

Who owns the ad accounts and pays for clicks?

You do. The accounts are set up in your business’s name, and you pay Google, Microsoft or Meta directly for ad spend. Our management is month to month, so you are never locked in.
